Santa Cruz has many surfing spot for short and long board surfing with excellent beach breaks. The peir is excellent for surf beginners. Santa Cruz also has a surf museum. Malibu is California's most famous surf beah for its variety of point breaks, expect this beach to be crowded with thousands of people visiting here each day. Huntington Beach stretches for 3 miles with great beach breakers and usually large swells. Huntington state beach is closed during the summer month but is a surfer paradise during winter. Bolsa Chica state beach is widely known for the bst spot for beginner surfers, as the waves are soft rolling with smooth calm surf most of the year. The Morro rock surf beach is the most reliable place to catch regular barrels ans produces world class waves for all levels of surfing. California has so many more surf beaches to offer like Shelter cove, Doran beach, Ocean beach, steamers lane and lots more.
